Garden Design

We as a family run company have been re-designing gardens for over 20 years. We can advise you on all aspects of your garden offer you a free quotation and plan as part of our service. We can also offer a more detailed professionally drawn set of plans at a reasonable cost.

We then undertake all aspects of the work ourselves from clearing the garden of all unwanted waste, preparing the garden for the installation of the the new products to the completion of the work.

Clearing of the garden

The first undertaking in most landscape design projects is to clear out the unwanted shrubs, turf, concrete, paving or whatever else there might be. We would undertake this as part of the agreed quotation and dispose of the waste into a skip and remove with lorries.

Once the waste is removed we would then prepare the garden onto the required levels. The next stage would be to lay down any base materials required for the paving such as mot type 1 and Sharp sand and lay any electric cables for lighting water features etc.

Installing new products

There are many things which can be installed into a new garden. Most popular items are new patio's and paths. To make the garden look softer and for somewhere for the children to play a flat level lawn is ideal in most gardens. Low maintenance gardens generally require Decorative gravels and chippings onto a weedex liner. There are a wide range of timber products for gardens. Decking has become very popular with a pergola or archway in the same area. New timber sleepers are ideal for creating raised beds or planters. Trellis or fencing can be used as a screen for privacy. Ponds and self contained water features make an ideal environment for wildlife.

The planting is usually the final undertaking in a garden project. We would insure the soil is suitable for planting new shrubs adding compost as needed, then supply and plant a variety of shrubs and plants to flower at different times of the year.

Garden Maintenance Service

We offer a maintenance service to suit every gardens needs. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly are popular if there is mowing of the grass to be included. Quarterly, six monthly or annually for the pruning of trees and shrubs.
